Become an Exhibitor at MakerFest 2026
Do you have something you’re passionate about? Something you build, develop, design, or create—with your hands, your mind, and your professional expertise at the centre?
Then become an exhibitor at MakerFest on 9–10 September 2026 and help give young people an experience that could spark their interest in your field and industry.
MakerFest is a two-day learning festival for lower and upper secondary students, where teaching moves out of the classroom and into workshops, laboratories, and creative tents in the forest at AU Herning.
Why take part as a company?
Be present where curiosity begins and great questions are asked. Inspire young people and showcase your field in practice.
By taking part, you will help to:
- provide hands-on experiences with technology, craftsmanship, innovation, and problem-solving
- spark curiosity about your profession and the career paths it offers
- show what your field is all about—at eye level and through practical activities
- inspire young people to explore educational and career opportunities they may not have considered
At the same time, you will become part of a community of companies and educational institutions that—like you—are passionate about inspiring and engaging the next generation.
What Previous Exhibitors Say
We want to share our craft and knowledge of botany and ecology, and give visitors an experience where they can learn, taste, and experiment.
Ulmus Craft Cocktails
I studied at AU Herning myself, so it’s great to support MakerFest and meet young people and teachers who are curious about production and technology.
AddiThy
We are taking part to demonstrate how technology can be used as an active tool in teaching, and to inspire young people to experiment with maker technology.
