Are you a teacher in Central or Western Jutland? Bring your class to MakerFest on 15-16 September 2027 from 9.00 to 14.00.

  • 15 September is primarily aimed at primary schools (pupils in the final years) and boarding schools
  • 16 September is primarily aimed at upper secondary education

The event features inspiring and hands-on workshops and talks – all centered around design, innovation, creativity and technology.

The programme for 2027 is currently being developed, but at MakerFest 2026, visitors could, among other things:

  • experiment with AI through fun, hands-on challenges
  • make jewellery from recycled materials
  • create delicious alcohol-free cocktails
  • try ice hockey training using VR and AR technology
  • design and print on recycled textiles
  • take part in building challenges, such as constructing the tallest tower
  • explore the technology behind electric vehicles
  • help design a production line
  • build models using solar, wind and Power-to-X technologies
  • work with 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC milling and engraving

Participation is free, but registration is required for all schools and upper secondary education. We’ll take care of transport and sandwiches – easy! Register here.
